Analysis of the match between Everton and West Ham
West Ham are going through a crisis, having suffered five defeats in their last six matches. With only three points collected from the opening five rounds, the Hammers sit just above Wolves in the Premier League table. This poor run of form has sparked rumors that the board is considering parting ways with manager Graham Potter.
On the other hand, despite being knocked out of the League Cup by Wolves, Everton are still holding a place in the top half of the Premier League standings. The Toffees went unbeaten in three straight matches to earn seven points, and in the last round they only narrowly lost 1-2 to reigning champions Liverpool.
Although Everton have failed to beat West Ham in their last four meetings, this looks like the perfect opportunity to break the streak, with the visitors in a fragile state. With the pace and creativity of their wing duo Grealish and Ndiaye, Everton have every chance to send West Ham home empty-handed.
