Analysis of the match between Dortmund and Athletic Club
Dortmund fans had reason to be disappointed in their Champions League opener, as the team managed only a point at Juventus. Despite leading 4-2 until the final minutes, two late goals saw the Black and Yellow lose the win in heartbreaking fashion.
Back on home soil for Matchday 2, Dortmund are determined to claim their first victory. They come into the game in strong form, having beaten Mainz 2-0 in the Bundesliga, remaining unbeaten, and climbing to second place, just two points behind rivals Bayern Munich.

Their preparation for the trip to Germany has been poor, limiting Bilbao’s chances of taking points.
